Samsung dikenal sebagai salah satu perusahaan elektronik yang paling terkenal dan memiliki produk-produk yang canggih mulai dari Home Theater, Gadget, Televisi, dan barang elektronik lainnya. Design dari produk-produk Samsung juga sangat elegan dan mewah. Dalam kemajuan teknologi, Samsung sudah tidak perlu diragukan lagi. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan berbagai produk elektronik yang selalu muncul dengan teknologi terbaru dan juga menjadi trend teknologi di dunia elektronik. 

Perusahaan elektronik asal Korea Selatan ini juga dikabar kan akan mengeluarkan teknologi dan design produk terbaru yang pastinya sangat mengejutkan. Menurut kabar, Samsung Mobile Display, perusahaan penghasil panel pada produk Samsung saat ini sedang mengembangkan sebuah panel yang diberi nama Panel Amoled. Panel ini bukanlah panel biasa, kelebihan panel ini adalah karena panel ini bisa ditekuk dan transparan. Nantinya panel ini akan diperkenalkan dalam smartphone dan tabletnya pada tahun 2012. Dengan menggunakan panel Amoled ini, dapat dipastikan smartphone dan tablet Samsung akan berbentuk seperti frame foto. Layarnya juga menggunakan augmented reality dan memperlihatkan sebuah konsep majalah digital.

Sebenarnya, panel transparan seperti ini sudah diperkenalkan terlebih dahulu oleh vendor asal Firlandia yaitu Nokia. Nokia telah memperkenalkan panel ini didalam Nokia Germ dan Nokia Kinetic. Jadi mari kita tunggu kehadiran teknologi Samsung yang terbaru ini dalam bentuk smartphone dan tabletnya. Tidak sabar rasanya ingin merasakan sensasi panel lekuk dan transparan buatan Samsung.

iBangle Bentuk iPod di Masa Depan

Sekali lagi perusahaan elektronik ternama dunia Apple, akan meluncurkan produk terbarunya. Produk terbaru itu adalah generasi terbaru dari iPog yaitu iBangle. Dengan menggunakan desain kaca berbentuk kurva dan bisa digunakan pada pergelangan tangan,yang diproyeksikan sebagai pengganti iPod Nano. Dengan kata lain, iBangle dari Apple ini memiliki design yang sangat simple yang bisa dikalungkan pada pergelangan tangan sehingga tidak mudah hilang. Karena dapat di kalungkan di pergelangan tangan, kita jadi lebih mudah membawa-bawa iBangle kemanapun dan tidak perlu khawatir untuk tertinggal disuatu tempat.

Jika Siri jadi ditempatkan pada semua perangkat Apple pada tahun depan, maka penggunanya bisa memerintahkan perangkat tersebut untuk memainkan lagu tertentu, memeriksa keadaan cuaca atau berbagai perintah lain. Selain itu nantinya akan dibenamkan teknologi terbaru Bluetooth 4.0 dan FR 70, sebuah perangkat navigasi yang lebih memudahkan penggunanya.

Dari informasi The New York Times membuat sebuah informasi dimana iPhone dan iPod  akan berkolaborasi. Sebagai informasi iPod yang digunakan di pergelangan tangan tersebut akan menjadi media display bagi permintaan pengguna pada iPhonenya.Cukup menarik jika rumor ini menjadi kenyataan, karena produk Apple akan dibuat lebih fleksibel tentunya.

Pada hari ini Blackberry mengumumkan penawaran aplikasi gratis senilai 63 pounsteling untuk menenangkan pelanggan yang terkena dampak “pemadaman layanan” selama tiga hari yang lalu.

Research in Motion menuai kemarahan meluas setelah jutaan orang di seluruh dunia tidak dapat mengakses email, surfing web, atau menggunakan layanan Blackberry Messenger beberapa waktu lalu. Kebanyak pengguna Blackberry ini melampiaskan kemarahan mereka pada Twitter dan situs jejaring social lainnya. Masalah dimulai senin lalu dan baru sepenuhnya dipulihkan pada hari kamis.

RIM mengatakan pemilihan aplikasi premium akan ditawarkan sebagai “ekspresi penghargaan atas kesabaran mereka selama mengalami gangguan”. Aplikasi tersebut akan tersedia pada Blackberry App World dari Rabu 19 Oktober sampai dengan 31  Desember.

Langkah untuk memperbaiki reputasi datang sebagai survei pekan lalu mengungkapkan bahwa satu dari lima pengguna Blackberry sedang mempertimbangkan untuk beralih ke ponsel lain. Bisnis “inti” Blackberry – menyediakan email yang aman dan pesan untuk bisnis – tampaknya berada di bawah ancaman.

Android Terancam Virus Varian Trojan Horse

Peringatan untuk semua orang yang telah memakai handphone Android. Karena dari banyak kabar bahwa Android sekarang tengah terancam oleh sebuah virus bawaan Trojan. Symantec telah merilis informasi tentang ancaman baru yang dikenal sebagai varian dari Trojan horse, yang disebut “Android.Counterclank” atau “Android.Tonclank”. Malware ini tertanam ke berbagai aplikasi di Android Market dan begitu aplikasi tersebut di download, maka ia akan meluncurkan layanan yang mengirim informasi dari perangkat, seperti MAC Address, Serial SIM, IMEI, dan IMSI, kembali ke host berbahaya.

Symantec telah memperkirakan bahwa Android. Counterclank telah terinstal di antara 1 juta hingga 5 juta perangkat. Satu cara pasti untuk mengetahui Anda terinfeksi adalah adanya ikon "Search" pada homescreen, yang digambarkan dalam grafik di bawah.

Tahun 2011 sudah berlalu, banyak teknologi dan gadget-gadget terbaru yang bermunculan di tahun 2011. Memasuki tahun 2012 ini pun akan banyak cerita-cerita tentang teknologi dan juga gadget yang akan bermunculan. Mari kita intip hal-hal yang akan muncul di tahun 2012.

1.  Sony Tanpa Ericson.

Tersiar kabar bahwa Sony sudah mengakuisisi sekitar 50% saham Ericsson, selain itu akan  ada penggantian nama dari Sony Ericsson menjadi Sony. Beberapa rumor tentang keberadaan smartphone Sony berulang kali terungkap. Bahkan hasil tes dari smartphone ini kerap kali dibicarakan di dunia maya. Bagaimana teknologi Sony di tahun ini tanpa Ericsson.

2.  Tampilan Terbaru MacBook.

Apple dikabarkan akan memperbaharui tampilan hardware dari MacBooknya. Baik itu untuk MacBook pro dan MacBook Air. Selain prosesor dan kartu  grafis yang baru, teknologi MacBook akan dibuat sefleksibel mungkin. Kabar menyebutkan bahwa teknologi  yang ada di perangkat iPad, dan iPhone juga akan hadir di MacBook.

3.  Kemunculan UltraBook.

Jika Apple akan memperbaharui tampilan baru MacBooknya, maka para pesaingnya tak mau kalah. Produk Non Apple, seperti Samsung, Acer, Asus, bahkan Dell, sudah menyiapkan konsep laptop terbaru yang lebih tipis, bertenaga, dan tak kalah dengan MacBook yang disebut UltraBook.

4.  iPad Generasi Terbaru.

Rumor yang beredar adalah bahwa Apple akan membuat dua versi dari iPad. Tapi beberapa pendapat menyebutkan apakah Apple akan memsubjektif dan rumor membuat sebagian orang masih binggung akan kehadiran ipad. Apple memang pandai menyimpan kejuta demi kejutan untuk produknya. iPad generasi berikutnya dikabarkan akan menggunakan resolusi layar yang lebih tinggi.

5.  Munculnya Samsung Galaxy S3.

 

Menjelang akhir tahun, muncul sebuah gosip akan kehadiran Samsung Galaxu S3 di tahun 2012 ini. Kabarnya dengan prosesor terbaru, dan bisa berjalan dengan OS yaitu Android dan Bada. Rumor akan keberadaan Samsung Galaxy S3 terus menguat hingga sekarang.

6.  Windows Phone dan Nokia.

Perlahan kualitas Windows Phone mulai membaik, seiring bekerjasamanya Microsoft dengan Nokia. Hasilnya terlihat di Nokia Lumia 800. Rumor menarik tentang keberadaan Nokia dan Microsoft berikutnya adalah kehadiran Nokia Lumia 900 yang saat ini tengah diuji coba.

7.  Kehadiran Asus Transformers.

 

Jika Apple sudah menyiapkan iPad 3, maka Asus, sudah menyiapkan Asus Transformers. Sebuah tablet yang diperkirakan akan menganggu keberadaan Apple. Sudah banyak muncul bocoran tentang keberadaan tablet ini. Hadir dengan Android 4.0, prosesor yang lebih bertenaga, membuat Asus Transformers akan menjadi pemain yang mampu mengejutkan di pasar tablet tahun ini.

8.  Windows 8.

Tersiar kabar bahwa Windows 8 yang akan segera hadir. Saat ini memang masih hadir dalam versi Beta. Tapi klaim Microsoft yang membuat Windows 8 lebih baik dari pendahulunya memang patut ditunggu. Tidak perlu upgrade hardware, tampilan UI Metro yang hadir pada smartphone dan Xbox 360 ke PC dan tablet, update yang lebih cepat, dan berbagai fitur unggulan lainnya diyakini membuat Microsoft akan menjadi alternatif yang menarik. Tak tanggung-tanggung, kabarnya akan hadir pula tablet dengan menggunakan Windows 8.

9.  Tablet Next Kindle Fire.

Tablet buatan Amazon ini memang mampu menjadi pesaing iPad dipasaran, bahkan tablet Android lainnya. Kindle Fire diperkirakan akan membuat dua varian terbaru dari produknya ini. Jika menjelang akhir tahun  2011, Kindle Fire bisa langsung melejit, bagaimana dengan tahun 2012 ini dengan rumor akan kehadiran Kindle Fire 2?.

10.  Kehadiran iPhone 5.

Ini dia gadget yang paling ditunggu di tahun 2012 yaitu generasi terbaru dari iPhone, lebih sering disebut dengan iPhone 5 dalam berbagai editorial teknologi. Dengan desain baru yang diubah, kekuatan yang lebih powerfull, dan diyakini, iphone 5 akan menggunakan teknologi 4G membuat iPhone generasi berikutnya ini akan dinanti. Tapi tidak semua orang meramalkan smartphoneini akan bernama iPhone 5. 

11.  Android Generasi Terbaru.

Saat ini teknologi Android memang sebatas di Android 4.0 atau Ice Cream Sandwich. Tapi mengikuti perkembangan zaman, mungkin saja, akan ada teknologi  Android berikutnya. Apa namanya?. Sepertinya teka-teki ini belum terjawab hingga sekarang. Ada atau tidak ada generasi Android berikutnya, memang belum terjawab. Tapi perkembangan teknologi yang cepat, bisa-bisa “memaksa” Google akan mengeluarkan jurus terbarunya.

12.  BlackBerry BB10 dan BBX.

BBX, BB 10, dan entah apa lagi perubahan yang akan dibuat oleh RIM tentang kehadiran generasi berikut dari BlackBerrynya. Hanya saja rencana ini mungkin masih terus dikembangkan oleh para pekerja di RIM. Teknologi masa depan seperti apa yang akan mereka buat nantinya.
